Session description
The poster exhibition is located in the Immatrikulations-Hall & Foyer 0604 of the congress venue. Presenters are requested to bring their paper poster to Munich (size DIN A0, 85 cm by 120 cm, portrait format).
Posters are organized in thematic groups and will be displayed for 2 days of the congress (Tuesday noon to Wednesday evening; Thursday morning to Friday noon).
Poster Sessions will be chaired by experts in this field.
Poster Mounting
Posters presented on Wednesday – Poster Session A:
Posters presented on Wednesday (Poster Session A) can be mounted from Tuesday noon, 10.00 am and should be up not later than 1 hour before the session start.
We kindly ask all poster presenters to remove your poster by Wednesday, 16 September 2026, 18:30 pm.
Posters presented on Thursday – Poster Session B:
Posters presented on Thursday (Poser Session B) can be mounted from Thursday morning, 10.00 am and should be up not later than 1 hour before the session start.
We kindly ask all poster presenters to remove your poster by Friday, 18 September 2026, 14:30 pm at the latest.
Materials to fix your poster will be available in the poster areas. The organizers are not responsible for any posters that have not been removed by the end of the Congress. Posters not removed by the end of the congress will be discarded.
Poster Prize
Two Best Poster Awards of €500 each will be awarded, recognizing the top poster contribution from Poster Session A and Poster Session B.
The award presentation will take place during the Closing Ceremony on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 14.15 pm in the Audimax.
Illustration layout
Drawings, diagrams and pictures are helpful and often necessary to illustrate results and conclusions. Make sure that your illustrations are easy to understand. Do not overload charts or drawings with information.
QR codes
QR codes are allowed on all posters for the purpose of disseminating scientific and educational content. The information available using the QR code should be freely accessible and should not require any specific log-in. In agreement with applicable laws, rules regulating restrictions for promotional activities in the context of medical events, QR codes should not give access to company sponsored websites allowing the free access to prescription medicines advertisements.

Presentation Format
Please use Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx) or Adobe PDF to guarantee your presentation will open successfully on an on-site PC. If you use MS PowerPoint, we recommend that you save your PowerPoint presentation using .pptx-format and not .pps or .ppsx.
All presentations will be presented on 16:9 screens. Please find here a presentation template.
Please use high contrast lettering, fonts with a minimum size of 16pt, and high contrast layouts, for example light text on a dark background.
Movies / Videos
Generally, the MPEG-4 format up to Full-HD should work with no difficulties. Please embed the videos in your presentation when using PowerPoint.
Fonts
Only fonts which are included in the basic installation of MS-Windows 10 will be available (English version of Windows). Use of other fonts not included in Windows can cause the wrong formatting of your presentation.
If you must use different fonts, these must be embedded into your presentation.
Disclosure of conflict of interest
A disclosure of conflict of interest* slide must be included in the PowerPoint presentation. The disclosure slide should be displayed and read to the audience at the beginning of your lecture. A template is available here.
