TUM is once again a University of Excellence and thus the only technical university to have held the title continuously since 2006. The award is presented as part of the Excellence Strategy of the German federal and state governments to strategically support German cutting-edge research internationally.
With this funding, we are implementing the TUM Agenda 2030 future concept. We are expanding the technology-oriented humanities and social sciences and restructuring the existing internal structure to focus on innovation: Discipline-specific faculties are being replaced by seven schools that are linked by integrative research institutes. In the spirit of a knowledge exchange, we support talent in all its diversity, at all levels and across disciplinary boundaries. To solve global challenges, we are working in alliances with international partners to reorient ourselves towards Europe and the Global South.
For our Meeting, we will reserve 5 fully equipped seminar rooms, lecture halls and an auditorium as well as space for posters, industry exhibitions and coffee breaks in different areas. Light exhibition areas allow congress participants and partners space for meetings, stimulating talks and discussions, as well as for making and deepening new and old contacts.
Immerse yourself in the campus atmosphere and be inspired by state-of-the-art lectures and current up-dates! Learn more…
